Frequently asked questions about the courses

The questions below are the ones we get asked most often over the phone. If yours isn’t listed here, send us an email.

Do I need to have my own equipment?

No. Saddle, bridle and shoes are included in the course price. If you have your own, we’ll do a quick check of it on the first evening.

How old do I have to be?

The basic course requires that you are at least 15 years old. If you are younger, an adult must participate with you.

What happens if it rains?

Outdoor courses are moved indoors in bad weather. We will notify you by text message no later than two hours before the start, and you can always choose to postpone to the next course instead.
